What is Rollie Goalie?

Rollie Goalie is a next-generation goalie movement system that allows goalies to slide, train, and play on surfaces where traditional goalie pads do not perform effectively.

The system attaches to your existing goalie pads and helps create realistic movement for:

  • Off-ice training
  • Roller hockey
  • Ball hockey
  • Dek hockey
  • Synthetic ice
  • Dryland goalie development
Can I Still Use My Goalie Pads on Ice?

Yes.

Rollie Goalie is designed to be removable, allowing goalies to use the same set of pads for off-ice training, roller hockey, ball hockey, and on-ice play.

Many goalies install Rollie Goalie for training sessions or non-ice games, then remove the system when returning to the ice.

The included mounting system was specifically designed to provide a secure fit while allowing the product to be removed and reinstalled as needed.

This means you can continue using the goalie pads you already own without purchasing a separate set dedicated to off-ice training.

Will Rollie Goalie Fit My Goalie Pads?

In most cases, yes.

Rollie Goalie was engineered with a universal mounting system that fits the vast majority of modern goalie pads.

Each kit includes:

  • Adjustable cinch straps
  • DuraGrip™ hook-and-loop fasteners
  • Adjustable buckle system

This combination provides a secure fit across most major goalie pad brands and models.

Which Goalie Pad Brands Are Compatible?

Rollie Goalie is compatible with most modern goalie pads, including many models from:

  • Bauer
  • CCM
  • Warrior
  • Vaughn
  • Brian's

Rollie Goalie was engineered to attach securely without damaging your pads when installed and used as directed.

The included DuraGrip™ fasteners are designed to provide a strong attachment while remaining removable when desired.

  • Other smooth athletic flooring

Can I Use Rollie Goalie on Synthetic Ice?

Absolutely.

Rollie Goalie was extensively tested on synthetic ice and is one of themost effective ways to develop realistic goalie movement while training off theice.

Many goalies use Rollie Goalie in combination with synthetic ice trainingareas to improve movement, positioning, and recovery techniques.

Can I Use Rollie Goalie for RollerHockey, Ball Hockey, or Dek Hockey?

Yes.

Rollie Goalie was specifically engineered for many of the surfaces commonly used in roller hockey, ball hockey, and dek hockey.

The dual-mode design allows goalies to optimize performance for a variety of playing environments.

How Do I Switch Between Modes?

Rollie Goalie features two performance modes, allowing you to optimize your slide for different playing and training surfaces.

Bearing Mode (Factory Installed)

Use the included Acetal Bearings for maximum glide on smooth surfaces such as:

  • Synthetic Ice
  • Dryland Tiles
  • Roller Hockey Courts
  • Floor Hockey Surfaces
  • Gym Floors
  • Tile Flooring
  • Other Smooth Training Surfaces

Pro Roll Chamber Mode™

For open-grid athletic flooring and modular sport courts, simply remove the Acetal Bearings using a Phillips screwdriver. The engineered Pro Roll Chambers are designed to glide directly on these textured surfaces, providing smooth, controlled movement without bearings.

Switching Back to Bearing Mode

When you're ready to return to smooth-surface training, simply reinstall the Acetal Bearings into the Rollie Goalie slide plates using a Phillips screwdriver.

Tip: Bearing Mode is optimized for smooth surfaces, while Pro Roll Chamber Mode™ is optimized for open-grid athletic flooring and modular sport court surfaces. Choosing the appropriate mode helps maximize performance and durability.

Can I Use Rollie Goalie on Concrete or Asphalt?

Yes, but performance and component life may vary.

Smooth surfaces generally provide the best movement and longest component life.

Rough concrete, asphalt, and abrasive outdoor surfaces may increase wear on replaceable components.

How Long Does Installation Take?

Most goalies can install Rollie Goalie in approximately 10–15 minutes.

Do I Need Any Special Tools?

No.

Everything needed for installation is included with your Rollie Goaliesystem.

Can I Remove Rollie Goalie and Reinstall It Later?

Yes.

Rollie Goalie can be removed and reinstalled as needed using the included cinch straps, DuraGrip™ fasteners, and buckle system.

Many goalies move between training, roller hockey, and ice hockey throughout the year and appreciate the flexibility of being able to use the same pads in multiple environments.
